Your Privacy Rights

Requests We Accept

Wherever you live, you can ask TrueFix Austin to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can opt out of marketing messages at any time. We will respond to reasonable requests, subject to information we must keep for legal, tax or record-keeping reasons.

Texas Residents

The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) gives Texas residents certain rights over their personal data when the law applies to the business that holds it. Those rights generally include the right to:

• Confirm and access: confirm whether personal data is being processed and access it
• Correct: correct inaccuracies in personal data
• Delete: delete personal data provided by or obtained about you
• Obtain a copy: receive a copy of personal data you provided, in a portable format where technically feasible
• Opt out: opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and certain profiling

Under the TDPSA, a business generally must respond to a request within 45 days, which may be extended in some circumstances. If a request is declined, you may appeal that decision by contacting us, and if you are not satisfied with the outcome of an appeal you may contact the Office of the Texas Attorney General.

We do not sell personal information. See Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.

Residents of Other States

If you live outside Texas, the privacy laws of your state may give you similar or different rights. Contact us and we will review your request under the law that applies.

How to Make a Request or Appeal

Contact us using the details below and describe your request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it, and an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf where the law allows. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
